Astro gear

Thanks to all who welcomed my presence to the Forum. Looking around I see many of you dabble in all sorts of astro things and this is good, as astronomy is a relaxing and satisfying science that keep us from going insane! LOL..... I tell my students rather than spend your free time trying to figure it all out just enjoy your astronomy. Nothing beats a star-studded sky, a purring telescope with other astronomers that are all sharing a common bond.

I have a custom USA made 32cm F16 classical cass. which I use for hi-res imagery housed in a Sirius Obs. school model. A C14 fastar + SBIG 237A CCD for SN hunting ina 4x3M roll off obs. and 3 Meade LX200 GPS14's that are used for the Maidenwell Observatory. Canon 1Ds DSLR plus many lenses and Pentax 67 with many lenses. Have just installed a 10" F4 astrograph that takes 4x5" film. This 40kg camera is mounted in C14 forks.
