Are there any great Euopean manufactured scopes?

I had ny heart set on a celestron, then I thought about Europe with their expertise n making instruments of other sorts, Hassleblads etc.

TIA

What type of scope?

The folks in Germany (Markes Ludes at APM) with Russian Optics make some fine refractor instruments...

Schmidt-Cassegrain, btw, your motto is close to the one on our family crest. Per Ardua ad Alta. Family legend says that one of us was a member tf the RFC and proposed the modification which led to its adoption as Per ardua ad Astra. I have no idea of it's truthfulness, but its a nice story. Mekon

TAL from Russia

Very high quality in a utilitarian dress. Typical of Russians. Make it work perfect even if it looks ordinary.
