Finderscopes

Hi Everyone, This is my first post here. Is there available a straight through finderscope with erect image, size? about 9x50. Cheers, John

hiya John,

I have a standard 8x50 GSO straight thru spare.... its not erect image tho.
I can bring it to the next MAS meet if ya want.

I havnt seen a straight through erect image one but I own a couple of 8X50 right angle erect image units from Andrews at $99 each including mounts and they represent excellent value for money. Good bright FOV and clear defined cross hairs.

You can always cut an old Bino in 1/2 & mod it. L.

err, might have been the 'other' magazine actually GS...

astronut - a spotting scope might cure your erection problem (optically speaking of course!)...they typically provide 'right way up' images...

Maybe GS was referring to the the Nov AST article "Finders: The Power Of One" reviewing red-dot finders ?

The was also a test report by Steve Massey on the TAL 8x50 finderscope (p78)
