nope the ears of dobs are cut in USA
the ear corner that folds down is cut off to give the pointed look
it's illegal in Aus.

Seriously? I haven't heard of that! How cruel!...

Just googled it and you're absolutely right. Who'd want to be a doberman? Tail cut off, ears cropped. That just aint right.

i didnt look but i asume its a doberman with its ears cut so they are pointy.

ive seen people have it done, plus tail docking (tail docking is still recomended breed standard.... ld like to see it banned myself)

as a dog lover if you want a dog with pointy ears pick a breed that has them.... like a blue heeler. better still get two of them then they have a friend to play with..... look good with tails too.

(and yes ive got two blueys)

Man, I can understand why the dog in the video bit the guy on the nuts now. Reckon he was just waiting for the right excuse. Hahaha.

Poor poor puppies.
I'd like to dock the tails of the blokes/women that do this sort of stuff.
I wonder how they'd feel if someone forced them to have surgery that left them looking like Chopper Read.

Thanks Troy, - yeah very funny. Regarding people's comments re cruelty to the dog, I think at that precise moment I'd rather be the dog than the young lad

Just watched the vid. Did anyone else get the impression that the recipient of the bite was a teenage son and the wielder of the laser was his dad?

Is it still a Darwin award if you remove your offsprings means of reproduction instead of your own??

That's just silly. Who's ever seen a DOB with ears anyway? Does a Dob with ears pick up activity in the audible frequencies?

I somehow don't think a father do that to his son and then post it on the net for all the world to see.

I say it was some idiot mate of his.
