OK who did it?

I left Roma yesterday morning on my motorbike to ride to Yeppoon for the weekend and it rained all the way to Banana We got thoroughly soaked still trying to dry the only pair of boots I brought with me.
So this is my question "who bought the new equipment and jinxed my weekend?
Anyone gonna own up?

Adrian

It wasn't me mate.
Blame Pmrid for trying once again to have his Observatory opening.
Expect more rain on July 25th.

I already said it was me and gave my apologies. I forecasted this last week. I took delivery of my first telescope on Friday. You might not have read my post in the beginners section. Of course I didn't realise the effect would be so widespread.
I assume the weather was particularly bad then?

It's the ISS mate. Next Tuesday through Friday, Sydney has a grandstand view of the ISS. I've programmed up my LX90 and charged up my batteries ... so it has to rain!

... actually, it might not rain if I have not set things up correctly! So then I can be flustered, and fail to get what would otherwise be perfect pix.
Regards,
Tony Barry

as long as it's clear on the 29th. The weather was particularly bad stinging rain couldn't see anymore than 100m bike is absolutely filthy not a bit of chrome showing every thing I had with me was soaked my brandnew leather jacket leaked it's dye all over my stomache (it's now black) now at mums waiting for the bikes to cool down so I can makethe bikes respectable again
And by the way I took delivery of some camera to scope adaptors on Thursday so it's probably my fault.

Got the new beast on Thursday, had 3 clear nights in a rown since, maybe the effect is displaced northwards due to global warming!

You guys have some nasty weather heading your way from the west. We have had rain all week and they actually had to stop the Rottnest ferries for the first time in 30 years due to strong winds making the passage unsafe. Still I don't mind as we need the rain. As long as it clears up by next friday when my holidays start .

What a great day for a ride. Clear blue skies all the way from Yeppoon back to Roma.
Got home and I still dont believe we have clear skies and I am too tired to do anything.... except sleep.

Hi All,

I was holding back. I'm reluctant to be a dobber.
Igor took my card and purchased himself a big toy.

Its now been returned and I expect all should clear once again.

( Igor is not imaginary! He's real!)

Cheers Marty
