Thumbs up Rigel PulsGuide

Used my new Rigel PulsGuide last night for the first time to do my drift alignment. I just bought the PulsGuide module and screwed it into my existing eyepiece.

What a great product!! Seriously - if you are doing a drift alignment with an eyepiece - this is a must have!

I just hope is lasts longer than the original LED that came with the eyepiece...

PulsGuide life

The battery is rated at 170 mah, since Pulseguide draws at most 0.5 ma, it should last 340 hours plus on a single battery

Actually the LED that came with my original eyepiece broke (not just a flat battery), that's why I upgraded in the first place. Sometimes it would work, sometimes not and the brightness control was very terrible.

But the difference to the PulsGuide is amazing. I suffered so long with my old LED, I should have made this upgrade a long time ago
