Sold: Celestron CPC1100XLT

My nineteen month old Celestron CPC1100 developed a problem
that was too hard for Celestron to fix, so three weeks ago
they replaced it with a brand new OTA/mount unit.
Since I was about to sell it anyway I am pretty happy with that decision.
The tripod, optical accessories and the hand controller remain original.
There is now about five month's warranty remaining on the Celestron gear.
The latest motor and handset firmware has been installed.

CPC1100 standard features include:

# Computerised dual fork arm alt-azimuth mount
with adjustable height 2" diameter steel leg tripod.
# Starbright XLT ultra-high transmission coatings.
# Flash upgradeable hand controller with SkyAlign.
# GPS built-in.
# NexRemote telescope control software.
# RS232 cable for GOTO computer connection.
# 40,000 object database.
# 50mm finderscope.
# 40mm Plossl eyepiece.
# 1.25" star diagonal.

You also get these quality accessories worth about $1000:

Astro-Physics full 2" visual back.
Astronomy Technologies 2" dielectric Quartz mirror diagonal
with 1.25" adapter.
Losmandy Counterweight System.
Kendrick 11" premiere dew heater strap.
Bintel Red Dot Finder (Multi reticle pattern type).
Celestron flexible Lens Shade/ Dew shield, which has been lined with
ScopeStuff's ultra black flocking material.
Bob's Knobs collimation thumbscrews (not installed).
MC Firmware programming cable.
USB to Serial converter cable.

I have the original Celestron cardboard shipping containers
if you want them.

Current Sydney new price for the CPC1100 alone ranges between $8000 to $9900.

Asking $4900.

Local pick up only at the moment (Dee Why, Sydney) or could possibly
personally deliver in Sydney Metro.

PM me,
Greg.
