Oh wow Mick.

That looks fantastic. Would you be able to crop the original a bit and don't resize it as small and repost it. I'd love to be able to see that moon a bit closer. I know it sounds crazy but that's one of the few things I miss now that we don't have much of a cane burning season here. The fantastic moon rises and sunsets. Play havoc with the rest of the astronomy though

Ok not the best but it was that red to the eye. The sugar cane smoke has done it's work Paul.

isnt it only a harvest moon in the northern hemisphere? wicked shots tho Mick - yellow moon at Midge point is a beauty too - proper moon orientation too
