Datacolor Spyder3Elite Monitor Calibrator

does anyone use this or have another product that is similar that they use? is it worthwhile? Will these products work with LCD TV's used as a monitor (high def TV's)?

Looking at getting one

David,

You probably don't need the Elite version.

Andrew has the Spyder2Pro, he might be able to help out a bit more.

Once my 5D Mark II arrives, I will be investing in the Spyder3Pro.

Humayun

David,

That is indeed a top price! Where did you get that price? The cheapest I had seen it prior to that was $20 more.

Humayun

David I have a Spyder2Pro and think it makes a real difference when using the monitor to setup images to be printed in pro print studio's. It is possible to set it up to use the same profile as that used by the print studios. The difference between the original setup and the final setup is quite noticable and is shown to you at completion.
