Ngc 253

Taken last night using my Gstar-Ex Camera, the Ioptron Cube and the Ioptron 80mm F5 refractor.
998 frames @ 2.56 seconds (128x senseup) 500 darks subtracted.
Approx. 42 minutes exposure all up.
Individual images extracted in Virtual Dub and stacked in Deep Sky Stacker.
All processing done in Paint Shop Pro. I used Levels just a little, and the Push and Soften brushes to fix the dark halos on the overexposed stars.

Rock Mallin sells a modded Mintron that can do longer exposures. (the Gstar is a Mintron)
I saw the colour version working at QLD Astrofest this year. The Mallin Cam is a lovely camera, but too expensive for me unfortunately.

Amazing!
You certainly squeeze every photon out of your imaging rig.
