Hmmm a 17 might tempt me if it has enough eye relief (which for me the 13 doesnt)

Also: if it has a concave eye lens (like the 13), the ER is measured from the bottom of the concavity.

Personally I would buy a 22mm Ethos in a heartbeat, but these new ones don't hold much appeal for me. I cannot imagine changing my 5mm & 7mm Pentaxes for anything, and the 17 is too close to the 13.

Well..the 17 has a high appeal to me. My currently most used EP is a 16mm T5 Nagler with only 10mm ER. The 17mm Ethos' extra ER would be welcome (concave eye lens or no) and the extra 0.42 degrees of true field would definitely most welcome. I have considered replacing my 12mm T4 with a 13mm Ethos, but the 17mm is a no-brainer for me.

Now, where to get the bucks from?
