Any good observing sites north of Melbourne?

G'day

Does anyone know of or can recommend good dark observing spots north of Melbourne, preferably around 60-80km out of the CBD. I live in Berwick and I just can't trust South Gippsland weather. So I have to make the sacrifice and drive a bit further to find clear skies.

I want somewhere completely isolated, with people unlikely, and must be accessable in a typical family car

Any ideas/recommendations?

Thanks.

This is slightly further out, but you've over the ranges, so the weather is better.

Cheap ($20 a night for a 240v powered telescope pad), secure, accessible in a normal car (a bit dusty the last 10 kms but no big deal). Built for guys just like us to have a dark site to go to.
