Best you can do IMO & E is the Orion Deluxe 2" barlow. It is not as cheap as the GSO though, bit less expensive than the TV big barlow iirc. You do get what you pay for though. It's a brilliant barlow - best contrast thanks to the internal baffling.
GSO 2" barlows are okay. I have one of those as well. In comparison with the Orion Deluxe it shows lot of field curvature and astigmatism in combination with some eyepieces. Also less contrast, more stray light/reflections. It is a good barlow though, worth the asking price. FWIW there is no difference between the ED and non-ED GSO 2" barlows IME. I compared and compared with different EPs and there was nothing in it. No more or less false colour on or off axis in either one. Except for the labelling, you really could not tell them apart either by looking at or through them.
Specifically re use for imaging I cannot comment.
