Hoo roo

I will bid goodbye to the good people of this forum. It has been an interesting couple of years I have spent at IIS but I feel I must be going. I have a great life in China and when I settle down here I will probably purchase some nokkies and a small scope and start observing again. But I don't feel much like forums anymore, my old life in Australia is becoming very remote as I ease into my new life.

I wish everyone at IIS clear skies and I hope your astronomical dreams come true. I would just like to add that the last few days there has been a few rude people on the forum, particually a certain retired scientist that thinks he can dump of other peoples views if he doesnt agree with them. I think we as Amauteur Astronomers should be tolarent of others even if we totally disagree with their views or opinions. All the best, maybe I will see some of you in one of the upcoming Total Solar Eclipses in China in the next couple of years.

Mick, Hunan, China.

Hi Mick, sorry to see you are leaving, I wish you all the best with your new life and endeavours in China.

Who knows we may even meet one day in China, Kee and I have always had a fascination with the country and would like to have a holiday there one day.

All the best

Hi Mick.

I've really enjoyed reading your views and seeing your pictures. Please continue to drop in and say g'day, I find it interesting to read of your exploits in Asia. And I want to see your solar eclipse images!

All the best.
