Spare sheet of Ebony Star?

Folks, I was just wondering if anyone has a spare piece of Ebony Star kicking around (50cm square) that I could purchase from you. PM me if so.

Thanks,
Phil

phil I have a piece but the cost to ship would be more than its worth.
try larger kitchen makers they will have offcuts of sheets stashed away
as its to pricey to throw away..$10 should get you the size and texture your after,,color wise ebony isn't that common and you might have to hunt .

Check this thread:-

Tannehill (Scott) gives the details for Ringwood Kitchens where we got our pieces. I think they are charging $25 for an offcut. Very helpful. They are used to dob owners asking about it.

I have a bit left, but not 50cm square. It's enough to make a few more Alt bearings.

ps. as I recall there are two different textures of Ebony Star. If you do a bit of searching for "Ebonystar" in this forum, you'll find the information you need.

A good alternative is Stardust by Formica, about $66.00 per sheet from
Bunnings. From memory 1200mm x 800mm size sheets.
