Referbished set up

Hi All,

Well all the changing, swapping, and fiddling has come to an end, and now i'm happy with the set-up and performance of my equipment.

First we have a pier, with 20mm alluminium base plates and a G11 on top with extension. I constructed a side by side mounting plate which attached directly to the base plate of for the G11.

On top is, Canon 300mm F/2.8 Lens with Canon 5D, next to that, Takahash FSQ-106, F/5.0 scope, then next to that is a Williams 80mm FD refractor, which will be the guide scope eventually.

It is all accurately balanced and slews beautifully, tested it out last night, so i thought you might like a look.

Leon

Excellent Leon.

Glad to see you mounted the Red WO!
It looked so lonely sitting on your desk.

That is just beautiful, Leon.

How portable is it, to bring to BSG?

The balance will change when you image with the FSQ? Or do you not plan on imaging with it? Looks lovely.

Oh yes, i will be imaging through the FSQ as well, and the balance is taken care of, i usually have an other camera attached to that (not shown) in the image.
