M20 Trifid

Decided to setup at 1.30am last night and wait for ngc253 ( Sculptor Galaxy ) to rise .... while I was waiting I shot some other objects. Here's one. Not very good but not that awful either. I know the shortcomings of such a short exposure and I'm not into stacking yet.

details: SW 200mm F5 Newt, EQ6 Pro, Canon 350D, MPCC, Baader UV/IR filter.
prime focus 20sec @ iso800 unguided

Nice! More exposures would be a charm though.

Thanks Nick and Mick.
I have actually posted an image of M20 before, not really sure which one I prefer but probably the latest one.
