URL problem in Signature

I had a mistake in the URL for my website in my signature pointed out to me, but when I try to fix it "the system" keeps inserting a "www." in front of the URL. I've tried a few workarounds which I thought would work, but the problem persists...

Is there an easy solution, or can someone help?

My URL should read http://alsworld.topcities.com/.

Thanks,

Al.

I did a test try and it doesn't insert 'www' in the url for signatures.

I manually edited your your signature and fixed the url for you. I don't know why it inserted a www for you. Sorry. But fixed anyway.

It's probably the wysiwyg editor that tries to be clever and 'fix' urls. Next time you have formatting problems, try switching to the standard editor (A/A in the top right corner of the interface) and edit the bbcode directly. Can't hurt.
