V2 - NGC3576 Statue of Liberty Nebula

Just re-sharing for fun.

This is V2 of my initial image which attempts to correct a never-to-be-repeated (albeit lovely) pink colour palette V1 was here

Thanks John aka Oska-san or just 'dude' for the tip about BB's HOO normalisation tool. It was in my box of goodies but I'd forgotten about it and was an excellent place to start.

Full size image is here at PBase

Dude... Nice one mate!

I don't know colour theory so I can't say why that gives you an SHO result, and interestingly the SHO gives more of an HOO result. Click first, Ctrl-Z and ask questions later

Very good image. It's interesting to see how the different colour schemes affect the results. (Personally, I preferred the pink one as I'm accustomed to seeing Ha data as red.)
