Another LMC

Hi Everyone,
Hope you had a good Christmas and not too busy!

Here is my latest effort on the LMC. Taken over two nights. 40X180 each of HA, SII, OIII and luminance. ASI 183MM with Esprit 100.

That’s a very cool image Chris. I like the way that NGC2070 is lurking in the corner commanding the scene. I see that the stars are a bit monochrome blue and could benefit from the addition of RGB stars (but that’s just me

). The gold/brown colour palette works well offset against the red Ha areas.

I might take up your suggestion and add RGB stars using my colour camera once the moon and clouds clear.

I took some RGB (as per your suggestion) and added it to the SHO stack.
