Imaging from Bortle 6-7 suburb

Hi all,
Asking for a friend, yes it's true. They work in a school in a bright suburban suburb O/S and are curious about which set up would suit for imaging. If money is no object and they want to image the hit parade of DSOs with their students, what would suit, a 36cm RASA for short exposures or a much slower RC/Newtonian? They haven't bought a camera yet and have a rather substantial budget. What do you think?
Cheers
Geoff

I have installed several fully robotic observatories for schools in bright urban environments.
Sorry, a 36cm RASA didn't/wouldn't make the cut in any of the above.
Budgets have been $100k and up...is that within their budget?
If so, happy to help ( send me a PM )
