On my bucket list to visit that area since the top gear Patagonia special, that and the Atacama desert

We spent 6 months backpacking Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador about 12 years ago. Unbelievably stunning continent.
Patagonia and the Atacama are out of this world, but that stretch between Chile and Bolivia (near the big salt lake) is really something else.

This post brings back memories, thanks for sharing, Marc!
