Another damn moon pic!

Nice image detail there Robin - I've always enjoyed the waning phases of the Moon probably because the features under that lighting are less commonly observed - giving it a fresher appeal.

I took a peek at the full moon tonight thru the LX... Big mistake..... Gotta get a moon filter.... I couldn't see any writing either...

Great shot Robin, lovely and sharp again.

However your image is well above the 60k limit - can you please re-attach a smaller or more compressed version to get under the 60k limit. If you want to show a higher detail/less compressed version, please link to an offsite one.

Thanks Mike, I'm totally aware of image size & not making them too big.The original fooled me last night, it came in under the required pixel dimensions but still was over the allowed size but I sent it in quickly last night so didn't pay huge attention to file size. This one is smaller with a smaller image quality as well.

Very nice detail Robin, a good pic indeed.
You will see what ever you want to see on the moon after a few stiff Bourbons.
