First Light M83 New gear

First image though my new gear, M83 at 10min Lum sub. In bortle 3/4 skies

GSO 14" RC
Ioptron CEM120EC
G4-16000 full frame CCD

Took longer then expected to get my new gear up and running. I'm still learning on how to use a CCD coming from CMOS. Not to sure of 10min is to long but the core still looks good to me. I'll be doing 10min RGB also.
Any tips I should know about

Most excellent. Nice image scale. Fun ahead with that set up.

Looks good to me.
What are your impressions on the GSO RC 14 Inch are you using a reducer?

Looks to be a good result...but why the screen-shot?

I'd like to see the original uploaded somewhere so we can poke-around for a closer look...

Hi Alex

I don't use a reducer, just a field flattener. So the scope is at its native f/8.

At this stage, Im quite happy with the scope, I can now pick up the faint objects and start to bring a lot of detail into objects.

Hi Peter

Here is the link to the raw image https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JWd...ew?usp=sharing

if you use pixinsight just do what you normal do to auto adjust.

Mind you, I was in 30Kmh + winds with wispy high clouds, so I did get some dirty images.

Thanks for the link. Which field flattener are you using?

Hi Peter

I use the TS-Optics RC 3" Flattener. I'm 4mm short from the field flattener so I still need to order a M68 extension. Trying to get one for a decent price during the current times is proving to be a bit hard. I can get one for about $40 euro, but they charge quite a bit for postage.
