This is an image I have been working on for a while. initial tests indicated that SII and OIII emmisions were very faint so decided to try some longer (20 minute exposures). Unfortunately the ZWO ASI1600MM-C seems to produce significant amp glow with these sort of lengths which was very problematic to reduce in Pixinsight. Decided to use most of the past 2 nights fathering a complete new set of 5 minutes exposures. Ended up with 5 hours, 20 minutes (21 of Ha, 24 of SII and 19 of OIII). Second image is the Tadpoles which is an interesting structure.
Details are:
Scope: Celestron Edge HD8"
Focuser: Moonlight Lite Crawler
Mount: Orion AZ/EQ G
Camera: ZWO ASI1600MM -C
Filters: Astrodon Ha 5nm SII 3nm OIII 3nm
Guiding: ZWO ASI 290mm Mini on ZWO OAG
Acquisition: SGP
Processing: Pixinsight
