Show Me The Bargains!

The Boxing Day Sale madness is already on us. If you chance across any astronomy related good deals how about sharing them here. Here a a couple i have seen so far:

Dell has up to 40% off laptops, 20% off desktops; JB Hifi has 15% off laptops.
More to come i am sure.

Sort of astro related, for watching documentaries and Cool spacey movies (not of the Kevin kind...). Bloody bargain!

Went to COSTCO today (non-member, snuck in). What a joke - may as well shop at Woolworths. Didn't see anything even coming close to a bargain, let alone pay $60 for the annual "privilege" to buy there. Pfft. Glad I did - won't pay it.

Went to Big W and a bunch of other outlets - not a thing worth having - not even chintzy Christmas decorations.

More a Grinch now after Xmas than before

My phone died xmas eve and my daughters tv so I had to buy stuff.
There were tvs everywhere and managed a reasonable buy but not much off the phone.
The storm up here was bad with trees down all over and the river came up at where I was xmas day by four foot.

Came across this little red dot finder the other day.
Haven't seen a pop up version before.
Has a hot shoe mount for a camera but I think you could adapt it for a telescope. Don't disregard camera and photo shops for your Astro gear, digidirect has 15-25% off some gear at the mo.
Cheers

Look on the bright side Alex - with all those downed trees you field of view may have improved!
