Eso 245-6

[Stevec35 (Steve)]

This is another target suggested by my UK colleague. It's a ring galaxy of rather unusual structure but is pretty faint therefore testing my less than perfect sky conditions. I'm not aware of any other amateur images of this one.

There are numerous other small galaxies in the field.

Thanks Colin. Had quite a lot of processing problems but in the end I think it wasn't too bad.

Steve... I'm not someone known for a predisposition for handing out "atta-boy's" willy nilly.
So take it as a given that I'm not inclined to sugar coat it... The processing could be better, etc)

That being said, I like it. (more than just a little bit)

Whilst you are never going to win a Malin award for this shot, imho) It is up there in the top three most interesting images on this forum in the last month or so.

Thanks Clive. Processing was difficult because my flat fields were stuffed up among other things and I certainly agree about it not winning a Malin. I do appreciate your comments. As you have probably noticed over time I tend to go for the rarely imaged.
