New Binoculars Question

I just recently bought 10 X 50 Binoculars from Andrews but I seem to be having problem setting it up. The left Eyepiece is working perfectly but the right eyepiece is totally dark and there is no exit pupil in the right side. I am not sure if its the equipment error or I am not setting it up properly your help will be highly appreciated.

There's generally nothing to set up with binoculars. Take the lens caps off both ends and they should work, even if not perfectly focused. If the right one doesn't let any light in with both caps off, then you have broken binoculars. Andrews will sort them out if you take them back.

Thanks for the reply ! Yes they were broken so I sent it back through my friend and they gave me store credit to use on my next shopping ... since all the good binoculars are sold out I will wait for the next shipment.
