NGC346 in NB

An attempt at NGC346 and neighbors.
I struggled a bit with tracking on this one and stars were a bit eggy.

I really like this nebula with its delicate wispyness and need to re-acquire proper data. Love Don's version of this.
Didn't know what to make of the colours.
comments welcome

Very nice image Alistair

I think you processed it very well and your image looks very pleasing to the eye.

I was planning to image the exact same area also in narrowband, so it is nice to see what to expect. My camera has been sent for an upgrade though, so I am out of action for a while...

Nicely pastel and wispy, Al. Interesting that it looks so sparse. My wider versions are jam-packed with stars, then they include LRGB data.

Cheers,
Rick.

thanks Slawomir
it is a bit unusual the way it turns out in NB but is really nice with delicate features. I really need to do it justice so will try adding more data.
I'm having trouble guiding on this though as its close to the pole.

Thanks Rick
I guess the 5nm Ha and 3nm O3 do yield sparse stars.
I like the pastel colours too.

Cheers
Alistair
