Late at night in the fall (in the northern hemisphere) you can see the summer constellations setting and at the same time see the winter constellations rising.

It’s a neat time of year!
Just before the start of morning twilight, look for bright Vega setting in the west northwest and brilliant Sirius rising in the east. If you have a low enough horizon that is not blocked by trees, you can make the neat observation of seeing them both above the horizon at the same time.
These images were shot with a fixed tabletop tripod sitting on top of my car with single 15 second exposures at ISO 3200 with in-camera long-exposure noise reduction turned on.
Cygnus is setting into the light pollution of Vineland / Philadelphia in the northwest, and Auriga is rising out of the light pollution of Atlantic City in the northeast from this observing site.
