Just enquired with Takahashi Japan regarding a factory upgrade for my EM200 USDII none-GoTo to the latest GoTo Temma 2M...they have just discontinued this upgrade program...the reason...apparently Temma 2M will be finished and they are working on something new....disappointment and excitement in one hit

What to do with a none GoTo mount

I have an early EM200 and was not interested in goto, but I did like the idea of fitting encoders to the ra and dec for "push to". I acquired a kit from JMI (Jimsmobile) in the USA about 15 years ago and use an NGC Max or Argonavis handset. I see that Wildcard now offer encoder kits for the EM200 too now. Mark
