GT-1100s can't find home

Hi,
Im having a lot of trouble with my GT-1100s trying to slew home upon turning it on. After I tell it to home on the controller, the RA motor will slew clockwise until it hits the hard stop with a great speed. This shouldn't be happening as from where it started, home was counter clockwise. Could this be due to a tremendous voltage/current increase (which is what fried the mobo of the other mount, a brand new ME II after an electrician shorted the mains) or could it be something else?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Luke

I doubt it's the sensor. Sounds like the Main PCB is the culprit.

Problem is you may not be able to source a MKS3200 controller...I don't Bisque have spares anymore.

If it's an MKS-3200 it should be plug compatible with an MKS-4000. If it's the MKS-3000, you'll need to send the mount to America for an expensive upgrade.

I've had a lot of trouble getting assistance from Bisque recently for one of these mounts. If they do talk to you, I'd love to hear from you. I've got some pics of the various circuit boards that bisque did send to me some months ago if you need help identifying which board your mount has. (If you like, send me your email address in a PM)
