An idea/suggestion

I was thinking before about observing reports of objects, and thought how helpful they were - then thought how much better it would be if it were more searchable....

My idea is for a new forum - or use observational astro - and have a thread devoted to a DSO, with a standard thread title format to aid searching

ie. NGC 4945
People would post replies to the thread with a description of their observations - maybe even a sketch - describing what they saw, with info of scope/EP, location, sky darkness, moon phase, objects altitude etc

It could easily become a really great resource, once some data collected. Would be really helpful to new and old when going after a new object - give you an idea of what to look for....

Great idea, Lee.. I'll give some thought to the logistics of how it would work and try and make some changes tomorrow morning.
