Almost finished SMC mosaic

Mosaic of the SMC and surrounds. Still missing one frame to get a decent shape. This is quick process to make sure it was coming together okay. The edges have about 45 minutes of exposure while the main part of the SMC is clocking up close to 2 hours.

Usual story for me. AT65EDQ, Nikon D5100, IDAS filter on HEQ5 pro. Stacked in DSS with flats and bias images. Post-processed in Adobe Photoshop.

Cheers Rick. I'm really wishing I had some software that would let me control the mount and take mosaics. I'm thinking of getting Sequence Generator Pro sometime. Trying to save cash for now so probably won't go that route till Autumn or something.

Cheers Rex. Won't be able to try completing this one for at least another 10 days. Another two panels and I should be able to really able to cut out a much larger overall mosaic.
