Howdy Bill, just came across your picture and link to website. I too have an LXD75 SN coupled with a 350D and was impressed with some of your pictures. I'm still finding my around the mount and like you, don't think it went through any QA at the factory. Good to hear (in your equipment section on website) you've sorted it all out though and hopefully I'll get mine working as well as I expect it too. Keep posting those pictures so I have something to aim for.

Nice picture, good to see a closeup of a section of the SMC. Something I've never had a chance to do.

Once you get the problems sorted you'll have a decent mount for astrophotography.
