LOL !

At first I thought it was something like... from Fred Flinstone cartoon!.

But,once in the air -quite amazing! great scenery in clip-mainly Europe,a very small segment-only a few seconds-looked like Australia.

Clever, how it all clips together-bet it would be very expensive.

"Expensive" is just relative (as anyone who indulges in amateur astronomy as a hobby should know!)
  • Archaeopteryx "Standard" (Basic model with open cockpit): € 64,791.00
  • Archaeopteryx "Race" (As per Archaeopteryx "Standard", with full cockpit fairing): € 71,852.00
  • Archaeopteryx "Electro" (As per Archaeopteryx "Race", plus electric drive system and propeller): € 86,975.00

Beautiful Interlaken. One of the loveliest places on Earth.

When I retire, I fully intend building a Grunau Baby - IMHo the most classic glider ever designed.

I have had the pleasure of sharing a thermal with an eagle, wing tip to wing tip. I could see the colour in it's eye.
Brilliant.
Greg.
