NGC 6726 - bright and dark nebula

Brilliant nebula over dark nebula, Corona Australis.

An unusual phenomenon caused by reflection of light pulses of the stars in the interstellar dust particles.

A combination of several factors: a pulse of intense light, a high density of dust particles and that the direction of the scattering is pointing towards us

Light echoes are often associated with the later stages in the life of the stars, when explosive events occurs. Althought this nebula is from young stars.

Good start on this one Jorge. It's a very pretty region. If you can, give it lots of time. It really comes alive after 4 hours of subs.

Yes, Kevin. It's my intention. I will wait for a better dark Moon. The image has a mistake, it was centered in NGC 6727. I thought it was the NGC 6726. Actually, we have there 3 nebula: NGC 6727, NGC 6726 and NGC 6729.
