What do I need for pics?

Hi everyone. If I have a collapsible Dobsonian, and want to take some pictures, what is the minimum equipment to use?

I don't have a laptop I can connect at this stage. Well, I do but the screen is buggered and only works via hooking it up to a television. l have a Pentax KM DSLR. I don't have much of a clue about ratio's, ISO's, F Stop etc and the other camera lingo. What I can tell you is (from the specs on the net):

MP: 10.2
Focal Length: 1.5x
Image Sensor: CCD (whatever that means)
ISO: Up to 3200
Shutter: 1/4000-30sec, bulb (whatever that means)

What gear would I need to hook the camera up and take some pics as far as camera adapters and the like to get me started?

Regards
Scott

A T-ring and a T-adaptor. However with a dobsonian, you'd be limited to very short exposures.

How do you change the exposures? Is that the amount of time the shutter is open to let light in?
