Quite a faint object. This is definitely a work in progress. I only managed 110 minutes of data before the clouds rolled in. Unfortunately I won't be able to get back to Wiruna for another month and by then the object will be too low to get much good data (transit at 4.30pm), so it's a wait until next year before adding to this one.

Usual equipment---12.5" Planewave CDK, QSI 540wsg, AP900 mount.
Exposure L:R:G:B :: 4 x 10min:2 x 10 min: 3 x 10min: 2 x10 min.

I like what you've got so far. It will worth the wait to hit it again next year.

Thanks Rick. I was a bit lucky to find this one--purely accidental browsing, but it looked to be worth a shot.

Thanks John. That's the beauty of digital imaging--time is no limitation.

Thanks Mike. Yes minidata is OK, but this is microdata--maybe microdata is the new minidata. I saw Rolf's shot--pretty spectacular.
