Occultation of Saturn by the Moon - Ingress.

Hi All,

We were lucky enough in Melbourne to have reasonably clear skies with some high cirrus cloud and the the views of Saturn disappearing behind the moon were magnificent.
Because of the high cloud the naked eye views were muted.

This is a single frame from a realtime video shot with 22" f/3.6 Reflector and Canon 6D RAW video (5x crop, 12.5 FPS). Very happy to have it after multiple equipment failure and poor weather forecast earlier today. Back outside to shoot Egress.

Cheers,
Alex
