Great galaxies

The noise in the bottom left is a little distracting so personally I'd tone down the background brightness a bit, but it's a personal taste as you may lose some slight brightness from the galaxies.

How much exposure time did it take with the 600D to get this? Is the 600D un-modded?

I've exposed 43 frames, 420" each for a tot of 5h. The camera is baaderized.

Nice shot Jeff.I am always jealous of northern imagers when they do these 2 galaxies. We don't get to see them down here.
