I'm thinking of selling a few cameras I don't use so much any more to fund an upgrade, so my trusty old 450D is first on the chopping block. I've removed the primary IR/UV filter, and I was in the process of prototyping a cooling system when I started using my 550D instead.
This camera is the first Canon with LiveView which makes it perfect for use with AstroPhotography Tool and Backyard EOS, although the back screen doesn't work anymore so everything is done through the laptop.
It comes with an AC power adapter and a prototype cooler (consists of 2 peltier units and a fan/heatsink).
I'll sell it for $400 shipped within Australia or you can tempt me with pickup offers.
Hey mate, Live View through the Laptop is hardly delayed at all, I've used the laptop for framing and focusing almost exclusively and I find it's much easier than the smaller LCD.
Not shown in the pics is that it has all the original covers fitted, the LCD panel is there it's just not hooked up to give room for the "cold finger".
