Can you fit a bresser EXOS2 with dual axis drives?

Has any one fitted drives to one of these mounts . They are an EQ5 clone and I believe that the SW drives fit it with maybe a different attachment bolt length. However I'm wondering whether the Orion dual axis drive which is supposed to fit the eq5 would also fit ? It's about $80 cheaper ( Bintel) than the equivalent SW from Andrews. Is it as good?
Ps the Bresser ( Meade?) mount is very solid and looks well built. Have mounted my C9.25" on it only for visual use when it's not mounted in the observatory on the neq6 (very handy).

Hi 5ash , as far as I know all Vixen GP clones will fit the same duel axis drives that are made and marketed by several different companies .

You have to be careful of the Dec motor as its very exposed on these and easily broken , I made a cover to fit over the dec motor I had on my now sold EQ5 and if you want a few photos of how I done it you only have to ask and I will send a few .

Brian.

The SW Synscan kit for the Vixen GP clones are fantastic. I have one mounted on my real-deal Vixen GPD2, and the combination is incredible - the GPD2 is superbly machined to start with, and the Synscan kits are excellently machined too, so I get absolutely flawless, noiseless tracking all night. The cheapest I found was Sirius in Brisbane for these, followed by Steve Massey (myastroshop.com.au) - both easily $200 cheaper than several southern city dealers.

The SW simple tracking motors (as opposed to he fully enclosed Synscan kit motors) are ho-hum as I found out - poorly machined spur gears. I did not like them - exposed, shoddy construction

The iOptron GOTONova...well, I won't be rude. QC... what's that?
