Lake Oberon re-edits

Im planning on entering a photo contest, so figured that a couple of months of photo editing techniques would help improve some older shots, so I decided to give them a re-edit.
To do this I went right back to the original RAW files and started again.

Im pretty pleased with the results, especially the shot with the boulders.

Thanks for looking.
Andrew

Beautiful ! I wish the composition was done in a way, where the lake happens to be just in the center below the galactic center ...

Thanks.
Yeah that would be lovely, I'll have to do some modelling to work out when that might be :-)

cheers

Nice shots Andrew Just would have liked to see a bit more sky above the Milky Way bulge in both of them. It looks a bit squashed up against the top of the frame, particularly in the second one.

Thanks!

Yeah I know, the Milky Way was quite high so the really wide shot had a second row and without a nodal point bracket it got a bit bent and not enough headroom to crop it properly.
The boulders shot I simply had a brain fart for some reason and only took a single row of images, unfortunately.

I like both of these and prefer the colour saturation you have used to other images seen here.
