Another NGC 253
Hi guys,
Took this image the night before last at the ASV's LMDSS in Victoria.
30 x 3min shots with a 12.5" f/5 telescope and a Canon 400D camera guided with a Lodestar autoguider and 80mm short focus refractor.
Processed in DSS and CS3.
Clear skies.

Nice piccie, John
But, can you reduce the size of the piccie you posted so we can easily see it. It'll look better that way, too

Carl, you can use the "Fit Image To Window Size" button in the top right of the attachment. Its the icon that looks like sort of like a compass.

Yes, I know that, but it would be just as easy to scale the image to fit in the first place.

The other reason for resizing is to maximise the quality while staying under the byte limit. My rule is if I can't keep the JPEG quality above 90% (or whatever the equivalent is in non-GNU software) I'll reduce the image size.

Nice NGC253 John. Plenty of detail in there, and your guiding and processing is very good.
