Celestron NexImage 5 Software

Hi Everyone.

I've done something silly and misplaced my software for my NexImage 5 CCD. I've got it installed on my laptop (which has died), and want to install it on my new laptop.

Does anyone know if it iCap 2.2 is downloadable aswell as the drivers for the camera ??

Thanks.

There a link there to the The Imaging Source driver which your camera uses hope this gets you up and going.

Celestron's ICap is the same as The Imaging Source's IC Capture:

That's because the NexImage 5 has the same specs as The Imaging Source's DFK-72AUCO2 USB CMOS camera:

After you install Celestron's NexImage 5 software on your computer, a driver called "Processor Idle-State Manager" authored by The Imaging Source is loaded every time you start your computer.

Celestron probably struck a deal with The Imaging Source to have their DFK-72AUCO2 manufactured in China under Celestron's name. That's why the NexImage 5 costs $100 less than the German camera.
