Saturn from last night

Hello everyone,

My first post on IIS and my first Saturn image in two years.

The seeing was very jittery so I had to keep the exposures short and that led to very noisy frames. Used 700 from 3500 for each colour.

Nothing remarkable that I can see on the image.

Cheers,
Stefan

welcome to IIS Stefan. That surely is an excellent image for the conditions - looking forward to more from that big scope. ray

Thanks everyone for the welcome and comments.

Mark,
It's a home made 16" Dall-Kirkham.

I just came in from a failed attempt at imaging Saturn again. I did not switch on the active cooling on time and the temperature was falling way too fast for the mirror to come to equilibrium in the short time span I had.
