Across the Milky Way

I took this shot a few weeks back when visiting family in Wagga. Love the dark skies out there!

Thanks for looking

A great looking photo Carlos.

Beautiful colour and nice composition.

You must know every bush track in the Wagga area. Lucky you're not afraid of the dark!

Ross.

Nice work Carlos, have you used a new processing technique? I like the processing of the milky way

Thanks Ross! Getting there, looking forward to returning to Wagga first week of August. The dark doesn't bother me so much, locals warn me about Yowies and Bunyips, but I'm more concerned about humans

Thanks Matt! I have but it's a one of kind process. My mother was sitting beside me when I was playing around with the tones and she said "ohh I like that" so I kept it - oringally there was a lot of green airglow.

Looks cool. The milkyway looks like the tree foliage.

Thank you very much Ian No polarie, I just kept the exposure down to 20 seconds to minimise trailing on 16mm 2.8 full frame at 6400iso. Dark skies also helped with capturing so much star light.
