My New Scope

Well after much deliberation over mounts and scopes I have my new setup all ready to go (while the rain comes down in sheets in Sydney). In the end I wanted to go back to wide field imaging on a better mount so I went with:

-Televue NP127is
-Losmandy G11 (I had the new HP worms and single block mounts installed)
-SBIG STF3800M

I must say the scope itself is a work of art and if it performs as well as it looks I will be a happy fellow. It even came with a beautiful protective case and a hat!

Pleased I got in before the dollar dropped below parity

Can't wait to try it all out and sorry about the rain

Dan

Sorry Dan, but an apology for the rain due to that huge purchase just won't cut it. I think a sacrifice might be in order.

The Televue NP127is has always had me interested, particularly because it is the baby brother to the rare NP-140. Looking forward to the images you post with this setup.
