Mounting a DSLR on a 5" MAK??

Does anybody have a suggestion on how I can piggyback mount a Canon 20D on a 5" Skywatcher Mak. Scope has no current mounting facility. Have tried to make an aluminium bracket that surrounds the scope with a 3cm gap but is too unstable. Has anybody out there made a bracket or similar.

I have a piggyback bracket from scopetronics, what is the outer diameter of the scope? I think its is a ScopeTronix Piggyback Camera Mount for ETX-105 , it fitted a 4" Celestron mak, might fit yours

Maybe get a set (or even just one) tube ring.
I would be getting a local machinist steel worker type to make a ring, line it with felt, and have a means of attaching a ball head to the ring. The Russian Maks seem to come with a camera attachment.
